Aimi New Materials has successfully developed a high-performance modified material - EPPE functional film

Aimi New Materials (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. has successfully developed a high-performance modified material - EPPE functional film. EPPE is a lightweight, high-strength modified material with semi-hard properties, moderate hardness and softness, and excellent surface abrasion resistance. Its chemical inertness gives the material excellent chemical resistance and oil resistance, and has significant advantages in strength, toughness and chemical resistance compared to PO class materials.

1.Physical property

(1)Mechanical behavior

①Transverse and longitudinal bidirectional tensile strength difference < 5%

②Hot tensile elongation > 700% at 120℃

(2)Weather fastness

①After aging test (85℃/85%RH), both tensile strength and elongation at break decrease by less than 5%

②No embrittlement in low temperature, strong ultraviolet environment, long-term storage without red and yellow phenomenon

(3)Stability

After pickling, alkali washing and solvent soaking, no blackening, swelling phenomenon, chemical tolerance is excellent.

(1)Recyclability

100% recyclable and compliant with EU environmental regulations (EU10-2011, REACH SVHC, RoHS, EN71-3, etc.)

(2)Harmless substance

Free of phthalates, PVC, BPA and heavy metals, meeting global green manufacturing standards.

3.Processing quality control

(1)Accuracy guarantee

①Transverse thickness tolerance < ±3 microns

②Strict crystal point control (zero for diagonal size ≥0.1mm)

(2)Process adaptability

Excellent bidirectional tensile performance, the horizontal and vertical tensile difference of the substrate in the thermal transfer processing has no effect on the pattern, ensuring the process stability.

OMR (Out Mold Release) is a surface decoration process, mainly used in 3C electronics, automotive interior, home appliances and other fields of complex surface treatment.
